Research

I'm a chemist by training, with a background in natural products, medicinal, and analytical chemistry. Over the past few years I've been applying that foundation to synthetic biology and metabolic engineering, building biosynthetic pathways and working with microbial hosts to produce natural products, using chemical analysis to guide the process along the way. I want to keep pushing further into metabolic engineering and natural products discovery, especially systems that can produce compounds with medicinal or industrial value.
